Industrial Studios Films Inspiring Feature on AWT
Industrial Studios of Nashville Tennessee filmed a feature on The Alliance For Working Together Foundation (AWT) to highlight the positive impact their organization has made. AWT is a 501-(c)3 non-profit in Mentor that works to create a positive perception of the manufacturing industry and provide education to help solve the skilled worker shortage.
The organization began in 2002 with a few local manufacturers meeting to discuss challenges & opportunities in the industry. The issue of finding skilled workers was identified as a main problem, and “promoting rewarding careers in manufacturing” became the group’s main focus to resolve it. Since then, AWT became a non-profit in 2012, gained over 500 members, placed over 1,000 students into manufacturing positions, and so much more.
