LDA Issues Annual Report for 2023 – First in Three Years, Since Pandemic   It has been three years since the last Annual LDA Report, largely due to the pandemic. During this time, the organization underwent an in-depth rebrand and a “renewed sense of purpose and direction”. Instead of the Northeast Ohio businesses setting up tables for students to visit, first & second year students will be setting up tables for the businesses to visit. Laketran invests $22 million into an Operations and Maintenance Facility renovation to prepare for future transit service in Lake County   Lake County, OH – Local officials and Laketran board of trustees gathered to for a groundbreaking ceremony Monday [March 13th, 2023] for its headquarters renovation project to expand their operations and maintenance facilities. The ceremony took place at the Frank R. Angeloro Laketran Headquarters at 555 Lakeshore Blvd. in Painesville Township. With a fleet of 160 vehicles, Laketran provides public transit service throughout Lake County and into Downtown Cleveland, supporting the transportation needs of residents, workers, and visitors….
The Lake-Geauga Habitat for Humanity announced their fundraising initiative to reach their closely approaching milestone of 100 homes! The goal is to fundraise for $1.2 million within the next 2 years, which will allow the organization to build 5 more homes and reach 101 in total.
