Local leaders will share updates, priorities and insight into the communities shaping Eastern Lake County PAINESVILLE TOWNSHIP, OHIO — The Eastern Lake County Chamber of Commerce invites business professionals, community members, and local leaders to attend its Annual State of the Communities on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at the Painesville Township Park Community Center, 1025 Hardy Road, Painesville Township.
The Annual State of the Communities is one of the Chamber’s signature programs, providing an opportunity to hear directly from the leader’s serving communities throughout Eastern Lake County. This year’s program will bring together representatives from local municipalities, Lake County and Lake Metroparks to discuss what is happening throughout the region and what lies ahead. Topics may include community investment, development, infrastructure, economic growth, current projects, future priorities, and the strategies behind decisions affecting local residents and businesses. “Our Annual State of the Communities is an opportunity for our business and community members to connect directly with our leaders, learn from them and continue nurturing those important relationships,” said Katrina March, Executive Director of the Eastern Lake County Chamber of Commerce. “We have the opportunity to showcase the people leading our communities while bringing together residents, business owners and their employees to stay informed about what is happening right in our own backyards.” March added, “Whether the conversation is about dollars, growth, strategy, the why or the how, these are discussions that matter to the people who live and work here. Our Chamber strives to connect the businesses and communities we serve, and this program is an important part of that mission.” Confirmed presenters include representatives from Perry Township, Village of Perry, Concord Township, Madison Village, Painesville Township, Madison Township, City of Painesville, North Perry Village, Lake County Commissioners and Lake Metroparks. The State of the Communities is designed to be valuable for anyone who lives or works in Eastern Lake County. Chamber membership is not required to attend. Business owners are also encouraged to invite members of their staff who would benefit from learning more about the communities where they work, serve customers and conduct business. The event is supported by Event Sponsors: Lake Development Authority and Lake Geauga Recovery Centers, along with the Chamber’s Platinum, Gold and Silver Partners.
