Lake-Geauga Habitat for Humanity -Groundbreaking Event

The Lake-Geauga Habitat for Humanity announced their fundraising initiative to reach their closely approaching milestone of 100 homes!

The goal is to fundraise for $1.2 million within the next 2 years, which will allow the organization to build 5 more homes and reach 101 in total. Executive Director, Michael Barb, expressed his excitement to the News Herald stating “Everybody has a story, and we want to invite people to be part of our story. Our story encompasses the homeowners we work with, our staff, our board, our supporters and the general public. This is an opportunity for people to be involved in something larger. It’s a tangible way to love your neighbor.” He invites the community to celebrate the official launch and homeowner 97 with them on April 2nd.

Ways to get involved and help the organization achieve their goal can be found on their website, lake-geaugahabitat.org.
