Madison Township is working on a long-term development opportunity regarding the land between Haines Rd & Burns Road on Route 20.
Sanitary sewers needs to be put in to make future residential/commercial development an option. The Township is hoping to make this 4 to 5m project more accessible for the land owners. 1.6m in ARPA funds was awarded to the Township and a discussion is in the works to receive matching funds from Lake County. The landowners will pay the remaining portion.
The plans are still preliminary, but it is an exciting project for the future of Madison Township
